I took all of these photos over the weekend I went camping. My dad and I went up north near Manistee National park, and we had a great time hiking, camping, driving, and eating campfire food. This knife is my Grandpa's knife, and it is the knife I was most often camping. In the first photo, I wanted to get a nice background with the leaves and the sun beaming through them and onto the knife. I like this image a lot because it blurs the background and the leaves and the sunshine sort of blends together creating a nice feel and look. For the second image, I wanted the knife to be a little brighter. So I decided to take a picture with the sun directly onto the knife, so it wouldn't be too dark. I put it onto a wooden stump so in the picture we can see more of the knife. And I decided to take it vertically because the knife was vertically standing. In Photoshop I added a pointillize filter to the knife, and I made the cell size big because it blends well with the colors of the picture. I hope that these photos can be pleasing to people's eyes and make them feel happy.
